Kitten policy

Are you interested in our cats or (upcomming) kittens or have any questions, please do not hesitate to send me an email along with an introduction about yourself. Messages with only questions about a price won't be answered. We like to get to know the people we sell kittens too.

Our kittens:

  • Are ready to leave at 14 weeks, or 15-16 weeks when moving abroad
  • Will be vaccinated twice against panleukopenia and upper resporitory virusses.
  • Will be microchipped and dewormed.
  • Come with an European passport.
  • With a pedigree of Mundikat (FIFe).

You will also get information about the care for your cat, feeding advice and a kitten package with food for the first days.

We use a sales agreement which can be send to you up front on request.

Health is our priority, our breeding cats are scanned regularly for HCM and are also tested for PKD, CMS and Patella Luxation. Our cattery is free of FIV and FeLV.
We also work on an outcross program to add some new genes and more vitality and to lower the inbreeding.

Every now and then we will have kittens available out of outcross combinations, we will also have straight coated kittens. The straight coated kittens will be sold for a lower amount.

A Devon Rex should not be kept as a single cat and for that reason we will only place our kittens when they will have another cat friend to play and sleep with.
Our kittens should be kept indoors and only be allowed to go outside in a cat proof, secured garden (or balcony).

When a litter is born we will first pick the ones that might be best for breeding, it may take some weeks before we can decide.
Please note that I do not sell pet kittens abroad unless it is within driving distance. We don't ship our kittens, but you are very welcome to come and pick up your kitten or in some cases I will be able to bring the kitten on buyers expence.

Our cats and kittens are fed with raw meat (complete mix).

Our kittens grow up in our living room, with kids and dogs and of course the other cats and will be used to all kinds of daily activities.

We often have a waiting list, but a waiting list will not be made earlier then when we are expecting kittens.

Usually the kittens are around 8 weeks of age when you can meet them, we ask you not to visit another cattery on the same day to avoid any risk of bringing in bacteria's or virussses.

In case a kitten is already old enough to move out at the first visit, the kitten will not be able to move out on the first visit. This to prevent impulsive purchases.

When you would like to reserve a kitten, after a visit, we will ask a down payment to reserve the kitten. This down payment will not be refunded if the buyer cancels.

We, as cattery, withhold the right to cancel a purchase, in this case a down payment will be refunded.

The kitten will remain in our possession until the date of moving, when the payment is fully completed and the sales agreement is signed.

We love to hear how your new kitten is growing up.

We hope that the kitten may grow old at their new owners, if for whatever reason the cat needs to be rehomed, we expect to be informed up front.
